Prostanthera rotundifolia is an attractive Australian native shrub known for its aromatic rounded foliage and spectacular display of purple to mauve flowers in spring. It is a naturally occurring species across parts of New South Wales, Victoria, Tasmania and South Australia.
 
The foliage releases a pleasant minty fragrance when brushed or crushed, making it particularly lovely when planted beside pathways where its aroma can be enjoyed.
