Tagetes erecta ( Marigold) makes a fantastic companion plant in your veggie patch, and really any where in your garden to add that splash of colour, and the flowers are edible.
 
Easy to grow, and growing up to 90cm, simply sow the seeds and watch the grow, but remember to water gently as the seeds begin to germinate.
