Hakea bakeriana is an exquisite native shrub often found in dry sclerophyll forests and coastal heaths in New South Wales, stretching from Newcastle down to the Hawkesbury and Glenorie districts
 
Flowers are fragrant, pinkish-white to deep pink or crimson flowers in small clusters (4 to 12 flowers), often blooming directly on old wood or below the leaves

Soil: Well-draining soils including loam, sandy loam and sandy soils
Water: Low to moderate; water regularly while establishing, then reduce once established. Drought tolerant once established.
